Greetings from the Chief Apostle - Professor Caesar Nongqunga

I write to all communities of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Saviour and the Creator of mankind and the universe at large. Thanks be to God, our provider for equipping us for the future before we were even born. He made sure that we walk tall in life without any fear. It is only when we lack the knowledge of what He has done to safeguard our future that we start to panic. Through having knowledge of what He has done to equip us to survive in life, we fear nothing; but instead, we keep praising Him, for He is worthy to be praised. We need to learn to embrace who we are, and nurture what we have been given by Him. Gifts from the Lord are meant to be used wisely, and that wisdom must be from Him. His wisdom will make us grow, as this is the year of growth. The direction to which we are to grow must be fully directed by Him.

We must always be guided by His wisdom, for the preparations of the
heart in man and the answers of the tongue are from Him. (Prov.16:1) Whilst we are created in His image, we need to always remember that an image does not exist in the absence of what
it depicts or reflects. Remember that God gave us firstly our source of existence which is our parents. That is the first gift we have from God and that is our identity. As long as you honour your parents, you shall be wise, for honoring God’s laws is wisdom. His commandments guide us to eternity. Our joy is in doing what He wants and what we want, for we have to reflect His
character to mankind.

Jesus said, “Why do ye also transgress the commandments of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, “Honour thy Father and Mother; and He that curseth his father or mother, let him die the death.” (Matt 15:3-4) We need to honour our parents for we are gifts given to them by God. Without them we would not exist on earth. We are their reflection on earth, as God commanded. By keeping God’s commandments, we love. In love God lives, for He is love. By deviating from His commandments, we shall lack knowledge and become unhappy and fearful, thus becoming murderers due to the feeling of unworthiness we experience.

Message to the Zimbabwe Community!

I wish to appreciate the love our Father relentlessly continues to demonstrate towards us, his children. He accorded us the opportunity to live beyond the COVID-19 pandemic and it is a clear demonstration of his endless love for us.

I sometimes ask myself if we deserve His love, and truly the answer is that we don’t. But He simply applies grace and unconditionality to us.

Why then should we betray His love by continually fighting amongst ourselves on non-spiritual grounds? I wish to implore each one of us to think deep and resolve to please our Father by moving away from perpetuating the devil’s will which stirs hatred, jealousy, greed, unnecessary arguments and competition amongst ourselves.

I implore all of us to change our attitudes and become doers of the Word and implementers of what He commands us to do and observe the four cardinal rules given to us by the Holy Spirit- which is the love of God-and it should be religiously adhered to at all levels of the Church.

The will of God, our Father-the Chief Apostle is that we love one another with the same love that He loves us with. By so doing, we shall become champions of peace and that will qualify us to be called children of God who are charged with the delivery of salvation to the needy souls who are in bondage and fulfil our Lord’s mission on earth.

Apostles have been called by God so that they become custodians of the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, love and forgiveness and not custodians of ‘other spirits. Hence, we are taught by the same spirit not to worship ancestors who gave birth to us but didn’t create us.

The year of Restoration is upon us and we can’t afford to lose faith in the One who restores. I implore the Church to rejuvenate its original understanding and submit itself to the will of God.

The establishment of the Church website in Zimbabwe is a noble development. Let us use it for the purpose for which it has been established and with Thanksgiving to all who worked tirelessly for the establishment of this sterling project. This is not a cast on stone, there is room for improvement as time evolves.

Makorokoto! Amhlope! Congratulations! Zimbabwe for this milestone.

May the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God-the Father and the unity of the Holy Spirit be with us now and for evermore, Amen!

Your servant in the Lord, the Apostle of Caesar Christ,

District Apostle and Presidency, Dr O.D.V. Chingombe.
